It wasn't released on the Steam store yet even though it was a greenlit. You can add the executable by click Add Non Steam Game... and chose the Blockland executable

But should the game be sold on steam, I can't put it in as an official steam game?

blockland has been "greenlit" that means it will be put into steam once badspot does some steamy stuff
when the game is released on steam you will be able to put it into your library

it'd probably be something like a steam retail key that you can get from the website or e-mail because i somehow am not convinced that we can just boop in our bl key

I think that it will be called Blockland in the store, you download the Demo and activate as you always have and that it would just sell you keys

oh wow I never thought of that, that makes a lot more sense
but isn't steam supposed to get a cut of the profits or something, won't they take issue with the fact that all of their customers are buying it directly from the site?

They'll buy it through steam and get their profit, steam will simply work like Amazon Payments and tell the authentication server that some has paid.
