Author Topic: Do you suffer from sympathetic embarrassment?  (Read 4222 times)

i've seen it called secondhand embarrassment before
but yeah

i get this all the time
it's why i started to just watch tv shows on the computer

I can't even watch embarrassing things happen to people.

Am I the only person who doesn't have this problem? O.o

I get this for the characters in movies for some reason.

I can barely watch awkward moments on tv

That's the reason I stopped watching Doctor Who. I would literally get frustrated because people have the net worth of dirt on that show. Eventually all those innocent people getting eaten up and violently ripped apart atom by atom and losing children and crap like that gets old.

but thats the fun part

oh thank god im not the only one

like seriously i'll be watching a movie I've watched before and its with a character i relate with getting like embarrassed and i have to skip through that scene.

i have major ball empathy, i literally recoil whenever i see, fictionally or otherwise, someone getting hit in the balls.

Who else gets emotionally involved in intense situations in a show like in the previous episode of Breaking Bad :U
