Author Topic: The scariest thing just happened to my Surface RT.  (Read 755 times)

I turned it off. A minute later, I turn it on. It shows the Surface Logo for like 1 second, then shuts off randomly. I keep on turning it on and same thing. Soon, it said it was starting automatic recovery, and it asked for a BitLocker password. I looked it up, and I logged in with my MS account but no keys. After researching, I thought it was Game Over. The SSD would be inaccessible and I would need to format it as a last resort. So, I turned it off and said Goodbye to it. But then, I turn it back on and it turns on and logs me in like normal. I was creeped out by what happened, but now I am surprised and relieved. I actually wrote this Post on my Surface RT.
