many 'mental disorders' like autism and adhd are diagnosed for almost no reason, psychology has a habit of mistaking regular human behavior for disorders. What I hate even more is that people think "oh look an autistic kid, I bet he's the next einstein!" without any reason to believe they're actually intellegent
