It is, it's modern contrarian bullstuff where "nerds" think they're being offended by a show depicting a group of characters who are, you know, not real.  Even if there was some reason to be offended, people not being open to making fun of themselves is ridiculous.

Someone tried comparing it a comedy about a black parent who fails to pay child support.  This is how delusional some of these people are.

Guys you have to realize that the pace of the show's humour has to be the way it is to let the live audience laugh, so it will seem awkward if you take it out or replace it. Not saying its a good show, I think it plays a little too much on pop culture recognition and not necessarily actual wit
