Author Topic: Looking to get a drawing tablet for christmas.  (Read 1016 times)

I'm looking to get a tablet to draw with and I don't know much about which one's are good so I was looking to you guys since I know some of you actually know about these things. Please only post if you actually know what you are talking about.

Please suggest some tablets to me because I don't want to buy something poor quality that won't last or work like it should.
PRICE RANGE
$30, probably stuffty and I can afford more
$40-50, only if it was a really good deal
$60ish, This is where I'm hoping to find one, but can go higher still.
$70-80, this is pretty high but where I'd still likely buy
$90ish, Would consider, but only if the quality can be proven
100+, too expensive.
Sorry if the colors throw you off, I wanted to clearly represent what I can afford but also what I'd prefer in price. I've looked at some and I've got one in mind for $60 but it's not a sure thing and I'd much rather see what you guys think.

67 dollars

I'm highly considering this. It's a great size and has most of what I'm looking for.

Do you know anything about it or have maybe seen one before? I'm concerned what the compatibility for Photoshop is.

don't get that one it has average 3.5 rating. anything under 4.5 really quirks me.

If you checked you would realize that two of the three reviews are 4.5 and above. One guy hated it and gave it a 1 like a loving dumbstuff. I quote literally..
Quote
" It is extremely hard to know where your writing is going to appear on the screen. There are different pressure sensitivity levels and it is very difficult to find the proper balance."
Like the weirdest stuff to complain about.

Pretty sure I'm going to get this one because I hear it's one of the better models and uses a coarse surface to recreate the feeling of drawing on paper. Unless anyone has any other suggestions.I'm spending up to $100 at this point so anything near that is fine.
