Log Cabin

So I wanted to build something for D-Funct's Winter Build-Off ( http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=247016.0 ) and I would like advice on what to improve on and possible things I could add to make my log cabin better. You can also rate but please leave advice with your rating.

its nicely done but small, so unless there's a small builds category you probably want to expand that.

the only thing I would suggest is adding some wood under the roof extension over the house edges, and redoing the chimney layout to not consist purely of 1x2 plates. try a mixed brick kind, varying the sizes of the bricks/plates like in this picture:
