Author Topic: Requesting phone spec list  (Read 508 times)

So after 4 months, the $40 phone I got that I thought was all I needed broke. Good thing to, because that thing was slow as stuff and crashed all the time. Anyway, I just placed an order for an LG G2. I know it was top of the list a few months ago, but where does it stand now? Top 5 most powerful phones? What I'm really looking for here is a sort of benchmarking/spec list for all (top) modern phones, just to see where mine lies (for bragging purposes). Also, if you have this phone, how do you like it? Tips and tricks to make it better?

Why would you want to brag on how powerful your phone is?
You wont get very far in life if you brag.

All my friends are tech oriented and they make fun of me for having stuffty tech like my terrible laptop, my (old) phone and my Wii U that I got for stuffs and giggles.

Or maybe not brag about your phone and just get the phone that's best for you

its like a snake:

you shouldn't whip it out of your pants and brag about it, nobody wants to see/hear it

I keep seeing relations like this, , but the program is comparing it to lower end phones. I want one that is comparing the top tier phones.

hello yes does that list say TRANSFORMER

also i'd recommend you just do like a google search for a list of top phones or find some other web thing that lets you compare your phone to others

if you really need to make your friends believe that your phone is good to consider it good then you shouldn't have the phone in the first place

also my snake statement still stands

I have the LG G2 as well :D
On antutu benchmarking when I tested it half a month ago it stood at the very top of the list as the fastest phone overall in benchmarking (with not overclocking), beating the samsung note 3.

The LG G2 is a powerhouse, it is one of the few phones released thus far that houses the snapdragon 800 processor. The only annoying thing is that snapdragon just recently released the 805 processor that is estimated to have a 40% increase in graphics processing power and a slightly higher clock speed. Though we won't see the 805 processor in any devices soon until midway into 2014. Also I can attest that the general operation of the phone is extremely smooth no matter what you do, you will not be disappointed. There are some slight annoyances with the UI like notifications bar clutter though that can be helped by disabling the Q-slide bar in notifications. Also the battery life is amazing, with moderate to heavy use it can well last you into the next day. As far as stand by time goes, it can be on standby for several days. I could certainly go on, but eh. I disabled the crapware that att put on the phone in the taskmanager along with apps that I simply wouldn't use.

I decided to benchmark it again :D

Thank you for being the only relevant poster. What's that other G2 benchmark below the Note 3? Also, my carrier will be Sprint. Any weird stuff Sprint does to their phones? I plan on putting Cyanogen on it as well.

Honestly I have no idea, I assume that LG G2 is a benchmark with no apps disabled in task manager and possibly before the small update the LG G2 got shortly after launch. This is only a wild guess. No, all carrier versions of the LG g2 are the same except for the verizon version, they made a small edit to the back buttons and I believe the notification led on the front. Eh i'm not a third party launcher guy myself, I rather like the UI. Also good news is that we are scheduled for an android 4.4 update in the first quarter of 2014. Hello android 4.4, and without a doubt the LG G2 will receive updates past that as well.

The korean version of the LG G2 has quite a few more features, then again any handset released in korea has much more features than american released versions.
