Author Topic: So, I got hacked the other day...  (Read 583 times)

I've been getting messages sent to my e-mail about someone getting into my Steam account. Apparently, this guy had signed in a few times before, and gotten through, meaning he must've hacked into my e-mail's password, too. Just a half an hour ago, I got the e-mail asking for the code for a new location, which, I removed right away since I had to of just missed him trying to log-in. Steam friends say that I have been messaging them a TON asking weird stuff, which, they apparently can't remember. So, now, I am stuck. I can't decide if I should risk transferring Blockland to Steam or not, I mean, like, I have the window up to do it right now and everything, but what if I get hacked again? What do you guys think I should do?

Change your password to everything, and if you use GMAIL use 2 step verification with your phone.
Clear everyone off that has been verified and you will be safe.

do not do it if you haven't changed things

I've tried changing my password, he just seems to keep getting into it. Eh, I am going to go for Steam. The scary part is my anti-virus software isn't picking anything up.

Change ALL your passwords. Email, steam, skype, everything.

Change your everything.
including your name, address, phone number, and if you really wanna be safe get a new car

I just realized something. This supposed hacker logged in with MY IP address, but I am pretty sure I've never been to Brecksville Ohio.

When changing your password, don't have the same password again. Pro tip.

You've gotta change your Gmail, then your Steam, then log in to steam to kick him off.

did he get the hacker achievement?
