I had a hard time authenticating (both RTB and Blockland Auth did not work), and I got the auth message "Authentication FAILED: Bad Response from Steam (1)"

known issue

if you look at the development topic you would see that there are a dozen people having this problem

I'm guessing it's Steam's problem based on the error message.

I really hope it's Steam just messing up, and not trying to monopolize off of us. Badspot probably gave specific instructions and Valve was like "Sure yeah whatever."

Edit: Was able to authenticate, though it was still locked in demo mode...

Nope. it appears to work now. Topic will remain open should the issue happen again.
