Author Topic: How do I decode a .dat file?  (Read 1021 times)

This is stemming from my key problems.

I have a old blockland folder on a flashdrive, everything in the folder is from V13 tho, so I can't just copy everything except the executable into my current blockland folder and have my account ready2go.

I have my key.dat, and Nobot told me I could decode it with another .dat file.
how2 pls help

Given two key.dat files from the same install (for two different keys), you can algorithmically determine the other key by knowing one of them.

This doesn't mean it's something you should do or is simple for an end-user to do.
