Author Topic: We Officially Lost Our Hype :(  (Read 1336 times)

We still gained 10,000+ players.
Yeah, and that's a pretty vast increase in such a short period of time. There's a lot more players than there used to be. The good thing about steam is that it primarily caters to YA/adult gamers, and so of the new players, a lot less of them will be whining kiddies.

It's an indie game with no running ads.
i'm pretty sure the ads are still running for the fridge sir
at least i think they are!

I've seen one on youtube, just one. But then addblock pro so...

Sure, the hype from the initial Steam release is gone, but we're still getting around 400 new players each day. Before that we used to get less than ten. Even if the game fades into obscurity we're still going to grow quicker than before we were on Steam.

We are still on the front page of "New Releases" on the category of Action still. So yes, I lost my hype also... but we are getting like
400 new players each day.
theres still little hype in my system, but blockland is growing day by day. It hasn't died on Steam yet.

and then pewdiepie/tobuscus/famous youtuber play blockland and then we get 10k+ people every week

source?
You want info on how Blockland was growing before Steam?
You didn't reply, but here it is anyway:

Some of the points are at zero because of starfishs messing with their server's player counts.
