Author Topic: Playing an animation frame-by-frame (Speed meter)  (Read 1102 times)

Is there some way to play an animation frame-by-frame for things like 3D speed meters for cars? I want to make 3D distance meter for this project.

Although im no pro at animation and stuff, the least you could do is create a bot which has a free look animation, then mount that instead of the item. You probably could do something without having to work around stuff though.

You could sort of do something filipe did on his speedkarts. Make an animation, and make it change accordingly

Maybe they could be nodes. You can hide them and unhide them depending on the speed of the car.

Ooh, that's really clever.

I forgot about those. I'll have to ask him.

Too many nodes. This might work with a smaller meter or some other smaller thing.

This would also be awesome to implement directly into cars.
