I'm having an issue with my printer

I just got a new printer, I'm trying to print and it works fine on my mothers computer, I think thats because its on the same network as it as in under wireless. I'm on a wired network and I'm unable to print to it.
When I print, this happens

The printer is on
I'm am on the same network
I don't know what the forget it means by print queue being online, any ideas?

Whatever you do, don't try to call the manufacturer's support line. I did that once and I was rerouted to a guy in New Delhi who was trying to convince me that "my printer had a virus" and I needed to buy his company's software license for $400 in order to remove it.

Actually, I just needed to add a port and it worked properly
