nor do I have much friends on Blockland either.
I doubt that not even 10% of the forums actually know who I am

Just join a server and participate in what activity is being done, stay around, and talk with the people there. Soon you'll start to do foolish/silly/fun stuff and then they'll wanna be friends.

Just the other day I was playing on the Slopes CTF and I asked "who wants to go on a flag run" meaning flying to the other base, grabbing the flag and returning it.

Some dude said "I will" and he jumped in my plane and we rammed into their base and went guns blazing.

After we inevitably died, we laughed about it, and said "lets go again!" We kept doing it having fun together, then he asked if I had RTB and now we'll probably hang out doing other stuff we like sometime.

Play a lot of TDM. I met most of my friends through TDM servers such as Heedicalking's and Jorgur's.

I'm friends with Archi on RTB and Skype and Hodot on Skype. 

I just realized that I used to be way better at making and keeping friends.  Archi and I hardly ever talk and I don't even know what happened to Hodot and I (back when he was Sun_Monocle).

Stick with projects and such longer, it should do a world of good.  If you build stuff with people finish it instead of leaving it half done and moving to the next one.

I used to watch Blockland videos like the one where Mr. Cheese and Slimey Squash build a house on voice chat, and I loved it so much I tried to get one of my IRL friends to build one with me
He just begged me to play minecraft with him

5 years for me, too, and I think i've gained some popularity over what i've hosted.

idk where i am in the blockland popularity list, but whenever i post in the "who is the above player in your perspective" (or whatever) thread people keep saying i'm an old forum member.

Look at the highest pages of the old Maps section, people were really really nice back then. now almost everyone is stuffty to everyone else.
