Author Topic: I might try mining crypto-currency.  (Read 1371 times)

isn't it better to like just buy a ton of bitcoins or any other forums of this currency when they are going for dirt cheap prices. When sell it when it skyrockets like it did a while back for bitcoin & litecoin?
It's like a super fast stock market.

Real money is backed by gold and silver
not any more ; ;

thanks to nixon.

thats why we have to raise the debt ceiling twice a year for the last 40 years. because there are no longer any rules to how much more we can spend to what money exists on earth. and there are no more rules or oversight to how much a private company like the federal reserve can print our money.

thats why the dollar will crash.
WILL. its been force delayed, and the books have been cooked for 40 years. its catching up very very hard and there is no way to fix it lol

It's value is like, literally based on nothing. You can say the same of the US Dollar, but it's less likely that skilled  hackers and system glitches could ruin the value of real world currency compared to digital currency. I might be wrong here
Something is only worth what people will give you for it.
And people gave out thousands of dollars for a single bitcoin at one point.

I've been hearing about the collapse of civilization and the fall of the dollar, even in the 80's there were books and movies about futuristic dystopian societies. Sounds like a beached whale that refuses to die even though it has been there for many years.

well the usd is the world reserve. so as long as we can print it fast enough, a crash can be delayed for essentially forever.
its different then other countries whos money has hyperinflated and died. they didnt have that cheat option we do.
they print, the money dies. we print, we just sell the money to another nation and the mis-value is hidden.

but that has been just with money spent. now that we are borrowing so much, that added debt isnt allowing us to keep ahead of the crash anymore. technically we have been crashing for 40 years. we just can cheat it better. but its caught up now.

Well someday, yeah stuff's probably going to go down.
Every nation comes to an end eventually.

Try mining HoboNickels, NovaCoins, and WorldCoins. I used to make a couple dollars a week doing each of those at a random time.

Also, the only crypto you should mine is WorldCoin. The prices are raising for it, and once it gets really high, you should sell them for Bitcoin and then trade that in for real emone.

As well, you can buy worldcoins for like 59 cents now I think each.

The problem is that mining crypto currencies is almost assuredly going to earn you less money than you put in to actually power the machines.  If you are like me and don't actually pay for power, then maybe you can do something, but you should also factor in general wear and tear on your computer considering that these are intensive operations.
