Can't send Punch Packet

When I try to join a game, it just says:

Sending Punch Packet
Sending Punch Packet
Sending Punch Packet

    Than a Few Seconds would pass.. than it would say:
Sending Punch Packet
Sending Punch Packet
Sending Punch Packet
  ... And then it would go on and on....

      If anybody has a solution, Please help

dosnt this happen when people host a server that dosnt have forwarded ports?
if it is, then it wouldnt be your fault.
