Author Topic: Word 2010 - "There is not enough memory or disk space"  (Read 755 times)

Ok, so I was working on a document on Word last night, and it was a real hassle to complete. Every time I would insert a text box, a window would pop up saying it can't read a .doc file. However, eventually when I would put a certain number of text boxes in my project, the fonts would all change to some kind of corrupt text. I would save it, close it but then when I would try to reopen the document, an error message would pop up and say that there isn't even memory or disk space left.

I tried to open the document again while running task manager and I had 71% of free memory with all other applications closed. I also have 189 GB left on my drive, so there is enough to open the document.

How do I fix this though?? This is getting very frustrating.

How much physical memory do you have?

Bump, can't even display special symbols or characters without crashing Word.

You could try open office if you can't find a way to fix it or try google drive/documents

Have you tried reinstalling Word and/or running windows updates?

I'm not sure I can reinstall since I lost my product key.
