Author Topic: Best way to Bypass school's internet blocks?  (Read 2150 times)

i used ultrasurf before it got blocked. that thing was god-tier
ultra surf still works for me, in fact I'm using it right now

The reason that one works at my school is because it's my own custom website, so it's not on the blacklist. Some schools use more intelligent filters that scan for keywords like proxy, in which case you're still likely to be forgeted with that one. But if your school is like mine and operates on a blacklist, that should work.

My school blocks the word 'proxy' from every search engine and everything, but the internet is smarter and I can just do 'proxee' lol and it will autocorrect. BTW, using Hotspot Shield from the cafeteria right now.

Try using Google Translate's website translator; unlike most proxy sites, it's not likely to be blocked itself.

Ran into this myself at school.

Try kproxy, there's an agent you can download to your USB, run it, and bypass it (Comes with Chrome, does not use school browsers).

Unfortunately, it's one of THOSE. AKA:

It has a premium thing. But if you use it for basic stuff, it'll work good for you.

i'm p sure http://www.centhra.com/ anything after the / redirects to the proxy.

Nvm, trinick make it redirect
Done. Any invalid file will redirect to the proxy.

i'll applaud the school for managing to block every single tor node in use

i use tor and i've never had a problem
tor literally lists all it's nodes

blocking tor is beyond easy

ssh proxy is the least stuffty method because of cryptography and likelihood of being blocked cause you can run your own proxy easy
of course, they could just block the protocol

When I was in school you could bypass the filter by not including www. when you typed in the website URL :cookieMonster:

yeah but new ones come around quite often

plus the fact i've never seen a school take the time to have each node blacklisted

I can run a quick proxy server at hammereditor.net.
But it would not be on port 80. What port would you like?

Edit: I don't have time to do so.
