I'm running linux, and I want to figure out why Gmod is crashing on loading world.
Where is the crash log located?

Apparently it's a dump file.
Or is it a crash log? I'm not sure, I just want to see why it's crashing.

look around in the game folder for a file that ends in .mdmp

Either verify the game cache or delete Gmod and then re-install it.

I verified game cache, and reinstalled before.
Team fortress 2 CAN be causing the issue, I'm going to reinstall both soon however.
I just updated, I am using the dev branch.
