How would I go about getting my key back?

So, a while back, about 2007-2008, my uncle had purchased Blockland for me. Now, since he purchased it, the key went to his email. He'd also put the key on a disc, but that disc is now completely shattered. Seeing as I don't talk to my uncle anymore for personal reasons, how would I go about getting my key back? Or would I have to buy a new one?

yeah, that's the long and short of it. unless you have a key.dat (of the missing key) and a spare key, and access to the computer that made the key.dat..?
