Author Topic: No URL Set in game manifest?!  (Read 1776 times)

So... I tried to launch Blockland, and it gave the error in the title. I checked my manifest and it was wpg.bell.somethingsomething because I was, I admit, cheating the internet payment. But I changed it to google.ca and... it still gives the error. Here is my manifest DAT file opened in Notepad:
<HEAD><TITLE>Object Moved</TITLE></HEAD><BODY><H1>Object Moved</H1>This object may be found <A HREF="http://wgp.bell.ca/wgcc"> here </A>.</BODY>

Anyone have the actual URL so I can play this again?  :nes:
Thanks, if you do.

what?
delete the file and launch the game again, it should redownload it. otherwise redownload the launcher if you forgeted it up somehow.

Ok then. Thanks.

Um... I get the same error, even with the manifest non-existent. Before I redownload, is the activation key stored on the forums anywhere?

Ok, I tracked the problem... sort of. I'll need anyone's HREF (URL) so I can replace the bell.ca/wgcc thing.
Unless that's meant to be a personal thing, then idk

What are you talking about?

Please delete latestManifest.dat and cache.db.

How about you pay your bills and get properly functioning internet without some crazy work around?

Your internet provider is redirecting all requests to a page telling you to pay your bills.

The solution seems trivial.
