Author Topic: Got to meet a baseball player today that had a stroke!  (Read 457 times)

So, for those of you who didn't know, I have serebral policy. I had it on my left leg, which has made almost a full recovery, and my left arm which is just getting worse. Because of this, I am not able to do as much things as easy as others- an example is that at age 11, I climbed my first rock wall a few months ago. This doesn't held me back though. I play tackle football, as a linemen, I also play baseball. Your probably thinking- HOW THE HELL- but to me it's no big deal. I play with 1 arm and I can switch my glove from under my shoulder onto my hand, and then take it off to throw all in 2 secs. I play catcher, pitcher, .and first base usually and sometimes outfield. Back to meeting the baseball player. He is a pitcher for my local high school and he does the same thing as me but he has it on his right side. We met because a retired pro introduced me to him when he saw that I was like this and so yeah. We played catch and it was really fun. I was so filled with joy and then we even signed baseballs and exchanged them! Besides my family, he is my hero!

What a terrible policy that was put in place
