Author Topic: Creepy Russian numbers station  (Read 574 times)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2EKWgTNEYU Theres this station called UVB-76 that has this buzzing noise that continues for a while until some times, it stops buzzing and a person would speak random numbers and names in russian. Then after the transmission, it will continue buzzing. In the video, the change in the buzzing at 1:27 is not normal. you can find other recordings with a buzzing in them.

Lately, UVB-76 has stopped buzzing completely and there is nothing happening on the channel at all. Conspiracy people, you know what to do.

do you know how old this is

Pretty creepy, but probably just a long-running numbers station that was put on loop because people thought it was funny.

Random idea i just thought of: they have switched stations, some running it has had to know random people have heard it.

im loving stuffting bricks like im a whore on the streets

The numbers, Mason, what do they mean?!

Arent there still a few number stations around today?

Number stations aren't really all that creepy or suspicious.  They're simply a means of communication within (usually) military forces.

uvb 76 almost got tracked to some remote location in russia iirc

1. 0. 6. 8. 10. 1. 0. 6.
101. 118. 105. 100. 101. 110. 116. 32. 97. 103. 101. 110. 100. 97.

Yup. They're mostly made for long range secure military communications.
