Author Topic: steam just got rid of all my badges and XP (Read 574 times)

i just re-installed windows and i somehow made my way onto my profile and whaddya know, i have 0 XP and no badges. I click that big blue LEVEL UP button and it get "you are now level 18" bullstuff.

it's not just me either

pls help i dont want to go into the dark and depressing basement that is steam support :(

(i even spent like $6 on RAW loving TRADING CARDS so im mad about that bullstuff too)

UPDATE: okay so now steam support says that my account name isn't even an account

i've tried my e-mail and my username but they don't work :((

Most likely has something to do with private profile, which you have. You were talking with tikitai, who has a public profile, which is probably why you could see his level by mousing over his name (if you did). On his profile, I moused over the "top level" friends, one of which had a private profile. He's the one who shows up as 0 as well: http://i.imgur.com/DoLaTmp.png

So maybe Steam now hides the trading card info based on your settings and it's still WIP so you can't see your own.

my profile is public though. i honestly can't find anything even on this.
