I've never made that claim.
If Badspot and the community believed I'd be good as a moderator and wanted a new one, then I'd happily fit that role.

I think it's beneficial to have multiple active moderators on the forums, especially since it's active 24 hours a day. And having a moderator on a different timezone brings us closer to round-the-clock moderation, which was the great benefit of having Ephi as a moderator, since he was particularly active as a moderator and could essentially cover the night-shift for Badspot.

Filipe is a good guy, but you mustn't forget that his english isn't top quality. Being able to speak proper english is critical for moderating an english-speaking forum.
