I am looking to buy a laptop for school, suggestions please!

I am not willing to spend anything over $350, and I really need something for next semester just for school. I'd only be using it to type up notes in class using Word. Also I have an iPad and I'm debating on whether I should get a keyboard and use the iPad instead for note-taking using the keyboard in class? I mean, I'd really prefer not to spend so much money, so of course I'd rather buy an external keyboard for my iPad. I just don't know if it'd work out, maybe it would though.

Also no netbooks please, thanks!

I don't know guys, I've had this iPad since early 2011 and it has done me well for these three years, I may just stick with it. I just need something for note-taking that can last me for another two years since that'll be when I graduate high school and when I attend college I'd get a real laptop. I'm thinking that I probably should use my iPad for this basic task using an external keyboard, what do you guys think?

I like this one a lot! Thanks for showing me, I'll definitely consider this. It seems too fancy for me though, and it looks like a netbook.
