Author Topic: Muslim's journey to Iceland  (Read 419 times)

For around three years I have had the goal of going/moving to Reykjavik, a peninsula in Iceland, one of my two dream countries. While this is the least accessible of all of the countries I could move to, it's my favorite, and where I'm trying to get my parents to take me.

I looked up flights in October (off-times, when they drop dramatically) and from here, it's $494, but it takes like 2 days. You leave at 8:30AM and get there at 6:30AM +1 day.

BLF, how can I reach my goal of going to Iceland with my parents?

In Iceland, it's common to speak English or Danish. Of course, Icelandic is their first language, but English is very common.

so.. $3,000 there and back?

Pretty much. :/

We're not made of money either, so that's the really hard part.

Although, the reason (if any) I'd be getting my first job at 16 is so I could pay for my own ticket
