Author Topic: how the actual forget do I uninstall avg?  (Read 4742 times)

i had avg and uninstalled it fine, no files or anything

am i the only one in which AVG does its job and thats it

you rly should just wipe, its so nice to have a fresh windows install. the family computer we had was deeply sick from my little brother browsing on it all the time and after a few years it got to the point where it took over 2 minutes to log on. I wiped and reinstalled 7 on there and it now takes like 3 seconds lol

Um, my computer has been worse situations before and I've been able to uninstall AVG. In fact, it works fine as a fine anti-virus for me, and I like it. What do you guys do with your computers?

I guess you could install linux

I don't think you need the original disks. You can find programs on the web that will fetch the product keys for you and Microsoft will let you download repair utilities. At least one repair option will essentially be a system wipe.
