I figured if I ever wanted to get anything from my recycling bin, I should probably avoid deleting it until it's entirely necessary. I've filled 800gb of my terabyte harddrive and about 100gb of that is in the trash. Probably most of the data comes from video files, but I won't delete it until I'm at 90% capacity.

I almost always clear my recycle bin / tash.
The most I would ever have in there would be a gigabyte.
