this, W8 hasn't been out for very long relative to the other OS's (at least it feels that way)

probably because microsoft realizes how huge of a mistake it was and they're trying to make up for it as quickly as possible

vista 2.0

they're announcing it not releasing
idk what you're trying to say
vista 2.0
vista was a mess

you guys, a new windows comes out every 3 years. 9 is no different. just as slow.

vista 2.0
Vista was a good OS as far as the interface and such go, the problem was it didn't play nice with certain hardware; the core was shoddy and unreliable

W8 is just horrid overall

The only bad thing about 8 imo is the metro.

But I never use it, so as far as that goes it's a great OS.

Windows 9 Already? At this rate we'll see Windows 10  being announced next year
also microsoft has been releasing an os every three years since vista

they're announcing it not releasing
all I did was point how long its been since those OS's came out

ah

I've only just gotten Windows 8 on my new laptop which I got last week.

There are still a few hiccupy moments in it, but I'm getting used to it.
I had to disable that thing that opens up when you slide your cursor near the right though, because my laptop doesn't have a scroll function, and I always catch it when scrolling down webpages and it really pissed me off.

We'll see how windows 9 goes, but I probably won't end up using it on my own personal computers, should I be lucky and continue to use this one for some time.
