I think the concept of Portal paint guns would be cooler in a multiplayer setting
like, the maps would be kinda big, so that you've got plenty of room, because with those two gels, anything not big enough would start to feel too small really fast. and not all flat land, there would need to be ledges and islands and stuff, but otherwise the floor is that nasty deadly liquid stuff from the Portal games. and there could be other traps like spikes on walls or ceilings in some places, maybe
and like, there would be the main objectives on the map, that cycle, like clicking regular buttons or taking cubes to big ones, so that you'd be motivated to move, and get there quickly, before anyone else. that would be the primary way of gaining points
and to prevent other players from getting there first you could like, place the paint in front of them so they'd go somewhere they hadn't intended, hopefully into the deadly stuff
