Seriously though, doesn't seem worth the money.


Isn't this just a Tag: The Power of Paint thing but it's just Portal? Tag is free and this is just a better graphics version of it (also stufftier in terms of gameplay)

Tag inspired Portal 2 gels btw. Valve got the Digipen people who worked on it to help with gel mechanics.

yeah the only good things on the Valve client are made by Source

i love the valve engine

its sad that something like this is getting bad reviews, i haven't tried this yet but it sounds like the developers worked hard on this

If they worked hard on this, it was wasted effort. I figure they could have probably made something really cool that was original, instead of making a MOD and charging money for it.

I'm okay if you want to make money on a game you make from scratch (or use assets you have a license for). But this recent trend to monetise EVERYTHING is giving me the stuffs. Soon people are going to be asking money to read their forum posts.


I think the concept of Portal paint guns would be cooler in a multiplayer setting
like, the maps would be kinda big, so that you've got plenty of room, because with those two gels, anything not big enough would start to feel too small really fast. and not all flat land, there would need to be ledges and islands and stuff, but otherwise the floor is that nasty deadly liquid stuff from the Portal games. and there could be other traps like spikes on walls or ceilings in some places, maybe
and like, there would be the main objectives on the map, that cycle, like clicking regular buttons or taking cubes to big ones, so that you'd be motivated to move, and get there quickly, before anyone else. that would be the primary way of gaining points
and to prevent other players from getting there first you could like, place the paint in front of them so they'd go somewhere they hadn't intended, hopefully into the deadly stuff

I'm buying it though because i love aperture stuff ^-^ (my pref. though)

A mod that isn't total conversion and uses licensed Portal default things and methods of doing things and it costs costs money?
