how does it not make things easier? the only downside is lugging its robot ass wherever you go in case you might need it for something
also in kimons defense an iphone doesnt have a tracking camera or a built in app that turns the lights on and greets you when you go into a certain room
the only thing siri does is respond to commands when you activate it, and sometimes it doesnt even work.

also robots that walk around and have social capabilities like JIBO probably wont be here for a couple years

there's an app for that

and home automation is still not revolutionary, it's been around for ages
plugging it against a voice recognizer doesn't make it different
Ok? its not like anyone here can afford the damn thing anyways? why are you still forcing your opinion on us?

if it would have legs, if only IF

but it doesn't so it's stuff from my view

I'm just stating my counterpoints like a civilized human in a rational argument

tbh i do think it would be like 50% better if it could move independently

yeah I always wanted some HAL lookalike stalking me over the house!

seriously if they release a voicepack like that i'd so buy just to freak out everyone who visits.

JIBO is only 5 pounds but

please dont tell me you need a battery
also

i guess JIBO is getting other skillsets but you might have to pay? man what the heck

i better be misinterpreting this

I guess they'll experiment with some new features and implement them later?
also i think it means he has to be plugged in unless you get a battery.

yeah this is too new and ballsy, it's best to wait this stuff catches on before investing into it.

eh i think i'll just wait until it can do all that but also move and vacuum my floor

wait, what if nintendo decided to invest in this, potential promos???

omg it'd make so much sense

a robot that cleans your room... I NEED ONE

i want mechs before small talking robots tbh

excluding vacuum cleaners
i will gladly take a small talking robot vacuum cleaner before a mech
