I'm thinking about starting a "give me your old computers" business.

I could take the stuff apart, charge everyone extra to destroy the HDD/give it back to them/transfer it back on their computer as an external HDD, then sell the rest of the parts by getting the little gold parts in them or something, or just plainly scavenging and selling what I get on Ebay.

Could also do some sort of "lol give me your broken stuff, give me enough money to buy what parts you need in order to remove broken screen and replace it by searching on google how to fix it."


I think I created a brilliant idea! I will be raking in that dough!!

i work at a place that gets computers donated from businesses, then we wipe the hard drives and put our own image of windows on it, and sell it for ~$150

My first victim is my old neighbor's old computer (she decided to buy a 1.2k computer. God only knows why. When she drops dead I'll probably get it in her will ).
