Author Topic: Is this pre-built computer any good?  (Read 717 times)

My mom does not trust me building a computer. She says that she will not pay more than $100 on a project. So I'm stuck.

basically I want to run Blockland, TF2, Gmod, and Minecraft on high settings with good FPS.
If I can't run all of these games on high settings, can you tell me what I can do with it?

isn't this the third topic you've made on this

you cant really make anything good with 100

you could use that and hope she doesn't notice you build it yourself

I confess, yes. I apologize, I really need a new computer now because my old one was terrible to begin with and it just broke, so I'm stuck on an eee pc until I get a new one.

You need to save your partslist and give the link to the save
the link you posted just takes us to whatever parts list we've already made

i took the time to remake this pc in pcpartpicker
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/6z3WJx
some parts arent the same. it doesnt tell you the psu, motherboard and other stuff but i took the cheapest of the cheap components with same specs. (32gb ssd instead of 8gb because its nowhere to be found)
its 730 but because of the SSD and what not its essentially the same price
MYTH BUSTED prebuilt pcs are just as expensive as custom built

Forget that PC. This one's cheaper and all you would need for what you're doing.

(custom built comps are still the best) you could always buy the parts then have a company build it for you.

Buy ten. The price of these computers have nowhere to go but up.

It definitely wins the ugly computer case contest that's for sure
