how do i make an avatar forum-friendly

yes
i don't have expensive software like photoshop, all i have is photoscape, a couple of tools that don't work from compressing gifs, and other stuff.

there's no gifs that is 5kb in size

I had two other gif avatars I wanted to use, which I could not get to work whatsoever. I tried at least 15 methods of compression for both. Finally this one worked after 5 tries, but I'd rather have had one of the first two.
