The language itself isn't too hard, neither are the two smaller alphabets. Kanji is the only hard thing, which you can learn easily(I think) over a few years if you're not hardcore.

There are 2,000 commonly used kanji, and over 10,000 total. It takes students in Japan nine years to learn them all, and for one who doesn't grow up in Japan, it can be hard.
If you can't tell, I am also taking Japanese. I came in handy last night when I was on dread's server. He said he was a Japanese 15 year old school girl hottie. I then asked him if he was Japanese in Japanese, and he replied with gibberish, then said that it meant hello.....
Back on topic: If I see the server up and don't see any better ones, I'll join....
