How do I turn off my F1-F12 keys?

Hello, for a couple of days now I've been playing Hl2rp, and Im getting fet up with pressing the fn key and the f1-12 keys to do something

If anyone has a explanation for this, than tell me
Im using a Windows 8.1

if you have to press fn to use your f1-f12 keys normally than thats probably from stuffty bloatware installed by whatever company made your laptop/desktop

When i was using a old laptop, the f1-12 keys were for screen brightness and volume.
