Ambiguous title is ambiguous.

nope the forum was just broken by the people who make SMF and they refuse to fix it
it's supposed to be a security thing but apparently it considers far too many things a security risk
not sure what exactly it is about an image that makes it happen, but it might work eventually if you try saving it with a few different image editors or something

also I meant like, the forum software in its entirety was broken. the creators of SMF didn't come and edit this forum specifically

If that's the case then how come noone downloaded smf and reverse engineered how to get an image through yet?

Not feeling like it?

Because you can't, the SMF forum checks what you uploaded, and if it's higher than say 20kb then it gives the error, there is no reverse engineering it because you simply can't bypass what the server checks.

You can figure out what it's checking and then try to mess with your image until it passes the rules. However if you don't even know what's wrong with it then that doesn't work.
