Author Topic: Does Blockland support multipe GPUs? (SLI or Crossfire)  (Read 549 times)

Just wondering, cause if I ever choose to upgrade my GPU again, I think I'd rather get another R9 270 rather than a whole new GPU.

dont think so.
but it kinda dosnt matter. any gpu that anyone would want to even use more then 1 of, usually can run bl well on its own.
i cant remember if the single gpu use here is related to opengl or just a torque thing? i dunno

Ok. Well, my R9 270 supports Crossfire, and there's a possibilty that sometime down the road I could get another one. We'll see though.

nope. its a hard thing to do and generally not worth the time. blockland doesnt need it
not many games have this support either. one weird one i recall having support is gta iv. but its so bad that it uses 50% of 1 card and 50% of the 2nd. essentially just 1 card

Huh. Ok. I guess  it's not really worth it, especially since I'd have to invenst in a new PSU probably as well.

it works on nearly all AAA title modern games. its worth it if you have an all around high end comp and play bigger games.
bl dosnt really apply to that kinda gaming.

though i am curious if blockland uses more vram if you have it. i got 4g to use, i havnt seen if blockland is capped low or something.

Yah, my card I think is only 2 gigs.

For the most part, it handles BL just fine. Just some bigger maps are pretty bad.

I wonder if upgrading to 8 gigs of RAM will help. I also could stand a CPU upgrade. I've already ordered an LGA 1150 socket motherboard and 8 gigs of RAM, but it will be a while before I can afford the actual CPU.
