printcount not going to 0

whenever i try to use incrementprintcount it works fine. 0 -> 1 -> 2 -> 3
so i clear it. set it to 0. it should go like this again. 0 -> 1 -> 2-> 3
but it doesn't. it goes 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6.

are you using a printer or the event, setprintcount?
the printer doesn't actually change the print count, as far as I know
just the print being displayed
setprintcount, incrementprintcount, and decrementprintcount all change the print count and displayed print
