"Attenborough's son said that his father died at lunchtime on Sunday.

In 2013 he was moved into a care home in west London, having suffered a stroke five years earlier that confined him to a wheelchair.

His family said last year that Attenborough never fully recovered from the stroke that left him in a coma for several days."

OK FIRST UNCLE PHIL, THEN ROBIN WILLIAMS, AND NOW THIS GUY?

That is truly saddening, but at least he got to live a much longer life than most people.

Year of dying
2014 confirmed for end of world

and soon it'll be david attenborough
I hope he's around for longer, but he is 88. He does admit he has a lot more difficult getting around these days, but he does look younger than he is.

Must be tough for David. His younger brother John Attenborough died 2 years ago, and now his older brother has sadly passed away too.

They say they always die in threes

We all need to pray that tom hanks wont be next

Ben Garney is next.
