Author Topic: Building tip  (Read 1147 times)

Guys i just wanted to share a tip i've known for quite awhile now
well you know how rain goes through bricks and it's really annoying? if you have kalphiters elevator mod, you can place it and raindrops wont go through it, because it's terrain (and one of the only lasting bits of it)
I suppose you can just slip it in the roof of one of your buildings and voila, dry as a bone :D (ok maybe a little bit moist hot)
Some of you might have known this but i know there are certainly a lot of people who dont know this so im just telling them, because i know people are really annoyed by rain and snow going through their builds.

edit: or zonebricks which youve probablyjustfoundoutbyBLAHBLAHBLAH

Zonebricks have been around forever....

Zonebricks have been around forever....
it looks like they were put on rtb in 2009, so he must have teleported from 2008 or earlier

IIRC this is because zone bricks, terrain bricks etc are considered water, that is why you can build in them and raindrops don't go through water bricks in blockland, you just see the raindrop hitting the water splash particle.

Wrong. The elevator mod uses static shapes.

Xalos elevators also do

Wrong. The elevator mod uses static shapes.
nvm, that makes more sense since it has a moving animation it would probably have to be.

By using water bricks you can blockrainfall. No add-ons needed
