EDIT: I wouldn't say it's for everyone. The canonical repos probably did not get it, meaning everyone running anything ubuntu-based won't get it.

EDIT: I just checked, they still have the old one.

All it did was make my font look smudged.


Remove Windows 7/8 only. I got it too.

The newly released and long overdue stable 64-bit version of Chrome is 7/8 only. The update with weird font rendering is for all platforms.
