how long does hard reset take usually?

i had to hard reset my phone cuz reasons. i click reset data or whatever, and its been doing this for about 10 mins now:

Only took me a few minutes, but I'm sure it can vary a lot. Hope it didn't get bricked. :v
Plug it in to make sure it doesn't die and actually brick it.

still nothing, it goes back to the menu fine.

i click reboot, but its not doing that.
