don't you know anything?? lights in the case make computers work faster. just like racing stripes and flames on cars

Flames on cars don't actually make you go faster. They just spook nearby cars, so they falter back, letting you race ahead.

Racing stripes do however speed cars up anywhere from 1-15%.

I would backup anything you care about on the hard drive. You should also just check all the fans cause a barring could be going bad and they make an awful sound when that happens. Spin all of them with your finger and feel some resistance it's prolly that. But it's pretty much narrowed down to those two things since it's a sound from a mechanical problem.

open it up while it's working and look at it when the noise happens
if you see anything breaking or anything being damaged fix it

also my old computer I used before had a broken disk drive so whenever you put in a disk it would make a clack-clack-clack-clack noise
