Author Topic: I work on a from-scratch Doctor Who intro  (Read 433 times)

Since there's no place to put random stuff you're working on (or I'm blind) I guess I'll put this here. I've been using After Effects and plan on using Blender to create a Doctor Who intro from mostly nothing. I'll obviously use pre-existing fonts and unless some really kind person makes a DW theme for me a pre-existing music piece, but I plan on all of the effects being from scratch.

Version 1 (just vortex, no camera movement, repetitive particles):

Version 2 (still just vortex, higher quality, better particles, added twistiness):

nice
Thanks.

The updated video is about 1/4 1/2 rendered, it'll still take time to upload though (at around 25%) and I have no idea how badly YouTube will mince the quality (I swear version 1 was not that bad in AE, though it turns out I was using a really lossy codec).
