annoying thing my friend does

sorry this is my second post today but i wanted to get something off my chest not my shirt, im not that easy to arouse, friends

ok so this kid, ok more like my friend does this really annoying thing. so ill tell him a joke and most the time they are pretty funny. then he takes the joke and goes along and tells a lot of other people, but he doesnt, erm, say it the right way. the way he normally tells people the joke is missing words or switched around so it doesnt make as much sense, and when he tells other kids the mis-translated joke, they just act like "wat" or "not funny..." then he just says "yeah i didnt make it up [my name] did. then it makes kids think i come up with stupid unfunny jokes.
can you guys let me know if youve had this same situation or if you can relate thanks

you can fix this by burning your friend at the stake feeding your friend's intestines to birds of prey emasculating him getting better friends or telling people that that kid is a huge unfunny memer

This could just be a speech defect, do you know if he has any mental illnesses? This may possibly be some form of accident he cant just control.

That, or he has stuffty memory, or perhaps bad speaking skills.

Either way, I'd suggest just not really caring about someone thinking you make bad jokes. You could simply tell them it's your friend's bad retelling of the joke that is messing it up, which would be easy to explain to them.
