Anyone own a Tarantula?

Im looking into getting one... But it might take me at least a year to gather money (I rarely can get ANY). If you own any, please leave what breed it is and how easy/hard it is to keep. Also, could you recommend a breed for a starter like me?

for some reason, tarantulas are the only spider that don't scare the everloving stuff out of me. probably cause the only times i've ever seen em are in cages.

This. Google something about looking after a tarantula, or read blogs about owners of 'em. I dunno mate, but google is much bigger than blockland forums.
