Author Topic: I want to learn how to animate  (Read 3718 times)

I want to learn how to animate models, specifically Guns, for reloading animations and recoil animations for me and my freinds' gun pack. Id just like to know the basics, some tips and tricks, and a lil help on coding the animations into the state sequences inside the weapon's CS file. So fill my cup to the brink on what you've learned from your guys' experience from modeling. BTW im using Milkshape 3d.

Tutorial here
thanks, I whatched a bunch of the videos, I think I have the basics down, any tips and tricks that I could learn from?

Sorry, i use blender..

Milkshape is a bitch to do.
Id try and help if I knew anything but the basics..

i would love to use blender, but my freind uses Milkshape, so unless i can export MS3D files into blender, im stuck with Milkshape.

Export into wavefront (.obj) from Milkshape then import into Blender.

Enable the MS3D importer add-on in blender, all of your animation and model data will load.

Export into wavefront (.obj) from Milkshape then import into Blender.

If he made any animation, it wont save with it.
